FAQs

Who is it for?

  • For those who are wondering how to start New Worshiping Communities

  • For those who are restarting their New Worshiping Communities and would like more connection and relationship to 1001.

  • For those who have New Worshiping Communities up and running but could use new resources and events to support them

  • For those who are up and running and already a part of the 1001 ecosystem but would like the connections to other presbyteries in the same stages.

What does it Look Like?

  • Monthly Cohort (similar stage) gatherings led by trained 1001 Cohort leaders.

  • Monthly Coaching for the presbytery staff or NWC committee.

  • Depending on the needs of the particular cohort, there will be conversations around resources most relevant and useful its members

  • Sharing of support, stories and resources within the cohort and within the presbytery

What is required of us?

  • Finding a committed Presbytery based Cohort participant we call “Cultivators”

  • The Cultivator for each presbytery will commit to participating in the monthly zoom gatherings of the Cohort and being the representative of the presbytery (it can be Staff, Committee Chair/member or interested member in the presbytery at large)

  • Presbytery’s commitment to support Pathways to Flourishing

What does it cost to Join?

  • Nothing! (In fact your presbytery will save on presbytery coaching)

  • But it does cost some time and participation.

What are some benefits?

  • Opportunities for 1001 Staff, NWC leaders or other organizational staff to come “visit” with your cohort for training and learning.

  • Special opportunities for Pathways to Flourishing Cohort members/presbyteries to have spaces reserved at 1001 Regional and National Gatherings.

  • 50% off the coaching fee for presbytery/staff coaching from 1001

  • Intentional connections and relationship building within cohorts as well as with staff and the 1001 ecosystem
