About Sara
Sara Hayden is the host of the New Way podcast. She’s a pastor, ICF-trained coach, and and non-profit leader. She’s super grateful to work for the 1001 New Worshiping Communities movement - supporting and resourcing some of the most faithful, talented and courageous people out there.
As director of the 1001 Apprenticeship and Residency Program, Sara teaches apprentices about church-planting via weekly video seminars.
Sara lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Chris Henry, and their two sons, Samuel and Ben.
About Marthame
Marthame Sanders is an Atlanta-based dad, artist, and pastor. A graduate of Yale University and the University of Chicago, Marthame has served in ministry as international mission staff, youth director, and solo pastor. In addition to producing New Way, he hosts his own weekly podcast, aijcast, which unites his passion for faith, art, and justice. Marthame and his wife, Elizabeth, keep busy parenting their two sons, ages 13 and 17, who are awesome but—let’s be honest—kind of immature. Marthame enjoys writing music, improvising on stage, and the fact that his two sons give him cover to play with Legos®. He will tell anyone who will listen (and some who won’t) about the documentary film series he and Elizabeth produced. Unfortunately, his bragging undermines his “street cred.”
